La PFB è specializzata nella produzione e vendita di componenti meccanici per ascensori.
Questa attività è iniziata nel 1964 con la produzione di pulegge che ha affiancato la preesistente lavorazione meccanica per conto terzi. Negli anni successivi l’Azienda abbandonava gradualmente le lavorazioni per conto terzi e ampliava la gamma di prodotti propri sino a giungere alla realizzazione delle attuali famiglie di prodotti per ascensori che oltre alle pulegge comprende: supporti e pattini, limitatori di velocità, tenditori, blocchi paracadute e capofune.
Ogni prodotto è progettato, costruito e collaudato dalla PFB la quale ottimizza la scelta dei materiali componenti, le tecniche di lavorazione e di assemblaggio in base all’esperienza trentennale acquisita e alla costante ricerca di miglioramento. L’affidabilità dei prodotti oltre che dalla perfetta esecuzione è garantita anche da una loro corretta applicazione ed a tale scopo la PFB indica nel proprio catalogo, le prestazioni e le caratteristiche tecniche e d’uso per le quali ogni prodotto è stato progettato.

Tutti i prodotti sono costruiti nel rispetto delle normative vigenti ed in particolare la famiglia dei limitatori di velocità, dei blocchi paracadute e capofune sono omologati TÜV.

Le vendite avvengono direttamente dall’Azienda ai clienti, i quali sono rappresentati, oltre che dai maggiori costruttori di ascensori europei, anche da montatori e manutentori.
Tutta l’attività della PFB è accentrata nei due stabilimenti di Modena, e la PFB si avvale anche di un indotto locale che fornisce abitualmente semilavorati.
  
  

P.F.B. is specialized in the production and sale of mechanical lift components. This activity started in 1964 with the production of pulleys, that supplemented the pre-existing mechanical production for third parties. In the following years, our factor gradually abandoned production for third parties and widened the range of its own products up to the point of reaching the production of the present range of lift products that, besides pulleys, includes: guide shoes, overspeed governors, tension weights, safety gear blocks and rope anchorages.
Each product is designed, manufactured and certified by P.F.B. that, with its 30 years of acquired experience and its constant research of improvement, makes the most perfect choice of the materials used and the working and assembling techniques. Besides the perfect execution, the reliability of our products is also guaranteed by their correct application. For this purpose, P.F.B. shows in its catalogue the performances and the technical characteristics and use for which each product has been designed.

All products are manufactured according to regulations in force and in particular the whole overspeed governors range, safety gear blocks and rope anchorages are certified by TÜV.

Sales are carried out directly from the factory to the clients, who are represented, apart from the most important european manufacturers, also by fitters and maintenance specialists.
All the P.F.B. activity, however, is concentrated in the two plants in Modena. P.F.B. also operates with a local channel, that usually suppliers semimanufactured products.
